Dinghies 

Learning the ropes in a dinghy is a great way to get into sailing and a fun way to pick up the basics. If you're new to the sport you can get a taste of what you're missing at an informal 'Discover Sailing' session when an experienced sailor will take you out on a boat and give you some instruction. If you want to take things further the club runs the RYA level 1 and 2 dinghy sailing courses each year. You can then hire one of the club's Wayfarer dinghies or choose to buy your own boat and keep it in the club's boatyard.

There is an enthusiastic dinghy sailing section at the club who meet regularly to race on the section of the Thames close to the clubhouse.
