Gravesend Station is about half a mile away in the town centre.
(Trains to London and Medway Towns).
There are several bus routes on the main road (A226 Milton Road).

If you are coming from Gravesend Town Centre:
Follow the one way system until you reach the clock tower.
Turn left
At the (new) traffic lights, take the second exit (signposted 'canal basin')
Follow the road round (mind the traffic islands and the new pedestrian crossing), and turn left immediately before the large building which is being worked on. Then follow the road round to the right by Gordon Promenade; the Sailing Club is the white building on the left, just before the bridge over the entrance to the canal basin.
There is parking in the public car park along the promenade.

Arriving by Water
There is a pilotage guide in our downloads section. There is quite a lot of mud at Gravesend, so if you are new to the area reading this could save you some embarrassment! The satellite view from Google Maps will give you an idea of the channel - but please bear in mind that it moves around.
