Too reliant on your outboard? We’re holding a ‘dinghy day’ for all members - old, new, young and not so young, primarily to develop skills in rowing, sculling, drifting, paddling and use of outboards with tenders for safe trips to the moorings. There is no sailing involved! Please bring any boats that you have, complete with oars, rowlocks, outboards etc. We will also be using inflatables, and the Club dinghy (Daisy) On hand to guide you in developing your techniques will be Helen Skellorn, John Green and John Lupton, and the day is organised by Richard Twyman. We will be providing safety boat cover, and there will be plenty of opportunity for fun and learning, practice and play. Please bring dinghies down by 0930 for a 1000 start. Clear up and finish at lunchtime (refreshments to be supervised by Cliff).
